Gershom Reese Wetzel was born in Reggio di Calabria , Italy on December 9^th, 1976 .  An avid fan of Star Wars, dinosaurs, Superman and Spiderman, Gershom discovered his artistic talent as a result of his fascination with these and other child-hood heroes, and by age 5, his drawings were already demonstrating an understanding of scale, human proportions, facial structures and emotions, and an acute attention to detail.
